Hey all, which dorms do you recommend for freshmen? I’m looking for a fun, social dorm, with close proximity to the center of campus. I’m also looking for a dorm with mostly freshmen and sophomores. Thanks!

You pretty much described Warren Towers. It’s a mostly freshman dorm with scattered sophomores. Located right in the middle of campus, you are right across from CAS and diagonal from Marsh Chapel. Sargent, SMG, SED, and ENG are very close too. Warren’s super social and floors bond pretty easily. We have common rooms and people have their doors open the first few weeks especially. Everything is in the building too. Check out other dorms threads for more info, because lots of people have given their perspective on the Warren experience. I loved it for my freshman year myself.

Thanks for your input on the Dorms. My son will be in SMG next year. Do you advise living in an SMG floor? Also, which dorm is the SMG floor in?

my2boys, have a look at this thread: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/boston-university/898496-smg-specialty-housing-warren.html

The floor is in Warren and yes, I definitely advise it.

pick warren because thats probably where im going to be next year as a freshman! : )

Lauren, I am planning on going to Sargent. How long would it take to walk there from Warren?

btotheg, literally like a minute or two. If you don’t get stuck waiting on the crosswalk.
