I am pretty set on majoring in business and know that applying and getting into Haas is a huge task. My parents encourage me and support me on that goal, but want me to double-major in something more "practical" than business.
I was considering Haas + Econ, but I don't know if that is necessary.
What about Haas + Math?
Haas + Psychology?
Can I even do Haas + Law as an undergrad? (Although that sounds like A LOTTTTT of stress)

What would current Haas/Cal students recommend to double-major with business?

Then something Sciency, or something professional!

Because, for example, you were marketing some kind of biofuel.
it’d be very helpful for you to have some background knowledge :)

Ethnic Studies are also good if you want to do international business.
It never hurts to know about other people’s cultures
if you’re gonna do business with them.

it seems like your a humanities guy,
so how about

A major more “practical” than business? None that I know of.

Haas and Economics share the same pre-requisites (almost) so if you can’t get into Haas, you can always fall back on Economics as a major and as long as you keep a 3.5, you will get a nice paying job.

Hmm maybe…
I was thinking perhaps corporate law
But then psychology might be do-able (I don’t know about practical) because I could possibly tie it in with consumer psychology?
