guys what would be the best double major in eecs ?>

EECS with Nuclear Engineering......the best and most related double major offered at CAL. I am currently pursuing this.............

Why do it? EECS, or nuclear engineering is enough alone. EECS is practically a double major (electrical engineering and computer science)!

Well, EECS has five options and two options for double majors. One, is the double major in Electrical Engineering and Materials Science Engineering. The other, is EECS and Nuclear Engineering. And you can also petition a dual major of your choice. But which one is better, or are they both the same? Which one is popular? :)

It's really up to you. Most people, however, change their decisions/goals of double majoring once they experience how difficult the courses are.

i think if i choose to try, i would pick computer science (option IV) and then material science and engineering? is that possible?

It is possible provided that you can graduate within the alloted time provided by the College of Engineering. Also, the double major courses are hard enough.

It is possible provided you plan out your semesters accordingly. Your plan should be flexible enough to account for the possibility of not getting into a course because it's full/not offered every semester.
