<p>It depends how you define success and intelligence.</p>
<p>If by “success” you mean “Which group, on average, will make the most money in their careers?” then I think it’s obvious that the LSM kids will, simply because most of them will either become surgeons or biotech big shots. The other groups are heading to careers that, on average, pay less.</p>
<p>If by “smart” you mean “Which group, on average, would win a Math Olympiad contest?” then I think it’s obvious that the M&T group is the best at math. They tend to be more nerdy smart than the other groups.</p>
<p>The Huntsman kids seem to be happier and more satisfied with their classes. </p>
<p>All of the coordinated dual degree programs are great, and I think Penn is really hitting the ball out of the park with their dual degree students. So many of them are being accepted into these programs ED. This is important because an ED student, by definition, was accepted into the programs before he or she applied to HYP, so Penn ends up getting students who may have gone to HYP if the dual degree programs did not exist.</p>
