@Tuesdayair: XD I requested. [P.S. 4th floor misses you. a lot.]

Seriously though, donāt request. I know, hypocrite right here. I probably would have been placed in my dorm anyway just because of the peopleā¦
Yaāll should wait until you get placed and wait a year. Youāll love your dorm either way. And itās not like youāre stuck with them forever. My friend lives in a house [and sheās a new student] and she practically LIVES in a friendās room in Bancroft. Itās quite hilarious.

I disagree. If a particular dorm is appealing to you, you should request it. First off, itās a ārequestā and especially if you are a prep there is no certainty that you will be placed there at all. Remember that priority is given to seniors, then uppers, etc. If you want to request a dorm because you like it and feel you would fit in there, go ahead. If you have no idea, dont stress. the suspense is fun!

Iām deciding between Webster, Abbot, and Peabody. Can anybody tell me anything more about there dorms. I know Abbot has some pretty quirky traditions.

Iām going to be a new upper so does that mean I would most likely end up in a house? I think Iād rather be in a larger dorm so I could get to know a lot of people quickly.

How would one go about requesting a dorm?
