Best for History -- UCDavis or UCSC??

<p>Just wondering what's better for the History major, Davis or Santa Cruz? My impression is Santa Cruz as of now.</p>

<p>Also, what is the best college within Santa Cruz for History, or where is the History department located?</p>

<p>I'm applying to both, as a history major, as well, so I would like to know. Overall, UC Davis generally has a better reputation though.</p>
