I finished 11th grade in canada
so it's a little different from studying the american way where you can finish the course entirely in one grade
bascially for me even though i took bio in gr 11 thats only half of the material of the entire bio curriculum and the other half continues on in gr 12 and such

so im planing to take a subject test in october, i'll have to self study this summer
are there any suggestions as to which subject is the best for self studying?
i have no experiecne in any history courses but i did take all three sciences in school,
i also took Math IIC and Chemistry last year, both with 730 possibly retake.
aiming for cornell, brown, duke!
thanks

haha i'm in the same boat :) but the bio isn't hard to self study for, it's easy, most of it (depending on which province you're in) seems to be straight out of the gr 11 curriculum, and besides, it's just bio. There isn't much to understand, just memorize, right?

accept, i'm in the exact same position except that i took bio12 instead of the gr11 bio.
ive started memorizing like crazy, and plan to go through prep books until im confident.
ps. have u taken ap bio??

ava.k, yea i did take bio AP this eleventh grade...except i didn't do any of the extra work that came with the AP coures haha
but i was always curious if our ap system is 'right'. because the way it works in my school is.. if you're in ap. you have to take it in both 11th grade and 12th grade. basically you self-teach 2 units from gr 12 and take those extra tests in gr 11 AP class. but if you fail it doenst matter becuase you get a second chance next yr in gr 12 AP (but again, you have to self study then as well) and for gr 12 AP curriculum, there would be about 3 months for your class to learn rest of the gr 12, and another 3 for some uni. stuff. if that makes sense, is that how it works at your school?
