I'm looking for FPF courses that I would enjoy and would be worth my time. I'm an intended Pre-Haas/Econ major.

Please recommend me some FPF courses to take (or avoid!) based on your experiences.

Thanks.

Math course, if your placement is 1A or 1B; see the http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/university-california-berkeley/1305840-freshman-math-faq.html .

R&C course, unless you have a 5 on AP English literature.

No other major requirements for business or economics are available in FPF. But you can start covering the 7-course breadth requirements for L&S and business. For example, ESPM 50AC will cover any one of historical studies, philosophy and values, or social and behavioral sciences*, and will also cover the American cultures requirement.

*Economics courses automatically cover this category for the economics major in L&S, but some common economics courses are not allowed for this requirement for the business major.

If you need to take Math 1B I recommend taking it with Fred Bourgoin. It appears to be much easier than the campus equivalent. Music 27 is a pretty popular course with a very enthusiastic professor, but is basically a music history class. ESPM50AC was an easy way to get the AC requirement out of the way. And lastly since a lot of required prereqs such as Chem and CS are not available you should get your R1A/R1B out of the way here.
