best french 1 textbook?

<p>I am going to self-study French (for now, at least), and I was wondering which is the best French 1 textbook to use, and if it comes with audio CDs and workbooks and such?</p>

<p>I like holt. But my school uses glencoe... (which is the worst thing ever. I used the first blue Holt book and that was basically the equivilant of French I and II in my school.)</p>
