Best internship for getting into film production

Hi! I'm a current Wharton student who wants to eventually break into film production and screenwriting. I was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of the best companies (preferably paid) to work for to get connections/experience next summer.

bumpidy bump bump :)

There are many excellent companies out there. It depends on where you want to be. West Coast or East Coast? You can search for companies online, check with your school’s career center. Sometimes you can find ads on Craigslist or in the newspaper, pay attention to job fair commercials on the radio or TV. Start searching for summer jobs in January or February. You’re not going to find much by April or May. If you’re lucky, you might stumble into someone who can get you connected to the industry. DS had three offers this year and had to turn down one of them because of schedule conflict. Out of the three, one is with an independent executive producer. The other two are with major companies.
