Best IVY for Business/International Relations

Hey.

I’ve always been curious about which universities in the IVY and top 20(roundabout) are really the best for business and international relations or the two combined.

So out of Harvard, Columbia, Stanford, Georgetown, UPenn, Berkeley, JHU, Yale, CHicago and Duke…

which university do you think has the best program and is well known?

Thanks

huntsman program at penn....o yea!

Undergraduate -- Wharton @ Penn for business.
Undergraduate -- Georgetown for IR

If you want economics, then you can include for undergraduate Stanford, JHU, Duke, Williams, Emory, Michigan, Colgate, Pomona.

how is stanford's IR undergrad program? does it compare to georgetown's?

The Tufts IR is comparable to JHU and Georgetown. And no, Stanford's IR isn't as strong as Georgetown's SFS.

Don't overlook Cornell's AEM program (Applied Economics and Management). Other than Wharton, it's the only Ivy with an accredited business program. Very selective - 2004 admit rate was 19% with a yield of 77%. Freshman enrollment of 98 students. USNews ranked Cornell AEM 14 overall in 2004 and that was it's first year after being accredited (the business program of any school needs to be accredited by the AACSB before it's ranked). It's ranking is expected to go up in the coming years.

As for IR, again, Cornell's ILR school is very well respected.

Dude...for Business and IR, it's Penn Huntsman hands down. Huntsman is a joint degree between Wharton and the Penn College and you come out with a degree in Econ and another in International Studies.

You didn't mention it in your list, but for international relations, Princeton University is pretty unbeatable (see Princeton's Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs). Also, their economics and finance programs are excellent.
