Best laptop for med school?

<p>I'm going to be in med school in 3 years (i'm in an accelerated program) and I'd like to buy a laptop now that will still be useful to me when I start med school.
Any recommendations?
I'm leaning towards an Apple iBook or Dell Inspiron (more towards the Apple, though), but I would like to have your opinion as well.</p>
