Best Libraries for Studying

Which are they? I've been to the fine arts library but that's it.

Thanks

if you tend to study best when it’s extremely quiet, go to the PCL

My favorite place to study if I had to pick somewhere other than my room would be the Life Sciences Library in the building where the tower is. Also, I like studying on the 3rd floor of the Union but you are not guaranteed silence.

The fine arts library is too far away for me to go there.
PCL is okay but everyone goes there so I tend to stay away to avoid running into a friend when I need to buckle down.
SZB isn’t a library but I had two hours before a class the other day and found a quiet place to study there. There are nooks with study cubicles off in corners.

Usually I just go into a random liberal arts building, find somewhere with a plug and sit down and study because it tends to be quiet, especially on floors where it’s just offices or a really small department, study while I am eating somewhere, or stay in my room. I’m not a fan of lugging my stuff to a library every time I want to study. Also I have no problem studying when people are talking.

I have never studied at a library other than group study. I studied last year at the living room area in my dorm or the honors reading room.

This year I just study in my living room at my house with no TV.

Natural sciences in main tower, law library, business school, upstairs pcl, upstairs union at night, chemistry, architecture, most of the individual school libraries are quiet.

I’ve heard that the Architecture library is an excellent place to study because so few people actually know about it. It’s actually really cool in there. It’s an older looking library with a more academic feel to it than the other ones I’ve seen on campus.

Which libraries are closest to Kinsolving? (And already have computers to use?)

Are the computers in PCL with internet access (not just the catalog, basically) ONLY on the 2nd floor? If so, is there anywhere I can rent out a laptop temporarily and maybe use that in the cubicles on a higher floor? How long would the battery last me?
