So far, I've mainly been sticking with my dorm or the PCL, but I don't seem to be very productive in either location. What are some of the "lesser known" places to study that are either on-campus, or relatively close to campus?

Before tests, I like to go to the second floor of the union. It’s really quiet because most of the people are sleeping and only on occasion will someone come through the hallway talking.
Also, in the PCL, I really like going to any of the floors, other than the first, which is like over the top loud. If you find one of those little desks, it can be really quiet without any distractions.

The law library is really good place to study. It’s really quiet. But the bad part is that it is kind of far.

I don’t always study in a library, but when I do, I like the human sciences library in the main building. It’s pretty cool and a quiet place.

I usually go to PCL or in my dorm room. But I heard Reliant Center in McCombs is a legit place to study. Also the Union is open till 3 A.M. which is great

Reliant Productivity Room in McCombs
Open 24/7 every day of the week
Every cubicle and chair has a power outlet with internet jack
Quiet zone
Group study rooms with big tv/monitor to hook your laptop to

Way better than PCL. I used to go to PCL.

isn’t Reliant only for business students?

Well there is a sign on the door… but nobody checks and nobody really cares. Anyone can go.

Life Sciences Library and the Architecture building library are pretty good.

The Union is great, especially the couches on the third floor. There’s also a lot of special rooms in the Union (like the culture rooms) that you can use when there aren’t meetings or events scheduled. They’re super quiet and comfy.
