Best Library to Study in at UCLA?

I will be spending a considerably time at the library...and was wondering what's the best library to study in terms of overall quietness, comfortable environment etc.?

There is no overall best library. Powell Library is the closest to the dorms, but is also the most overcrowded. The Science and Engineering Library is the quietest, but is also the smallest in size. The Biomedical Library has the most flexible hours, but is also the farthest from the dorms.

what about the young research library?

Charles E Young Research Library is definitely the best... there is hardly anyone there, even during finals, and it is massive...

The Law Library is the best, IMHO. Very nice atmosphere.

^

You are allowed to study in the law library?
Sweet!

are there any restrictions as in who can use what library? for example can I borrow books from the young research library? or go in the law library?

Yes. The upper floors of the Law Library are restricted to Law students only.

What about the South? library (the one near saxon)

You can check out any book from any library.

^ (that is, assuming its a book you can check out lol - i.e. not on reserve, etc.)

what type of books are at each library?

i mean, is it just law-related books at the law library? is there anywhere to find fiction books?

I've found YRL to be the most useful typically, though I've made my way to many of the schools library's.

No way you can study at Law Library? I thought it was only reserved to UCLA law students...

I love studying at the young research library, there's hardly anyone upstairs near the microfilms, and it has a great view of the sculpture garden.

It looks as though I'll be spending a majority of my studying time in Young Research Library.
Thanks for the suggestions guys!

yeah thanks guys.
