Long story short, after reading about the science majors and the horrible job prospects, the science will not be a good major for the lifestyle I want to live. So that said would accounting or business admin or other majors be a good fit for someone who wants to make alot of money?

Accounting/finance, economics, CS are all solid majors. It’s not just the major that’s the most important, it’s the skills that sets you apart that matter the most.

What do you call a lot of money?

The best major for the big, big bucks is a finance/business degree from an elite program that investment banks, major consulting firms and hedge funds recruit students - Wharton, Stanford, Harvard, etc. that’s where the huge money is but a well paying job is something totally different.

A well paying job is earned by you while on the job. Finance, marketing, law, medicine, consulting, real estate, engineering, sales, etc all can get you there. Sales is one function where hard work, determination and a good attitude can make you tons of money without a whole bunch of degrees and letters after your name.

Finally, mo money, mo problems. It’s not just how much you bring in, it’s how much that’s going out that can be a problem. A high income, frugal lifestyle and tax avoidance can make you wealthy but you seem to want a lifestyle more than the actual wealth. That can sabotage your dream of having a lot of money. Keep that in mind.

A person who makes $60K while living a $30K lifestyle will one day be wealthier than someone earning $500K with a million dollar lifestyle.

The highest paying jobs mostly require further schooling after undergrad school, i.e. grad, business, law, medical school.

With just an undergrad degree, probably the highest paying major is petroleum engineering. Starting salary is 100k.

So would a law degree be a good choice? i would like to do the actual work of a lawyer (not the “Law And Order” kind of stuff)

A law degree is not an undergraduate degree. It requires LAW SCHOOL, and law school is very expensive.

Since you have stated your interest is making a lot of money, then be forewarned that law is a risky bet nowadays. A lot of simple legal work has been supplanted by widely available resources on the internet. And a lot of billed work is outsourced to india. Unless u graduate from a top law school, the likelihood is that you will end up deeply in debt and underemployed.
