best meal plan

anybody know when the deadline is for upgrading the meal plan?
i figured i should upgrade to the 19p (i have 14p right now) because im staying on campus and i love to eat.

if i want to upgrade my meal plan, where should should i go (website)?

btw, i dont think ice blended drinks are covered by swipes at the bruin cafe...just checked out the menu..

when ordering food at redenvous would i be able to order 2 meals to go (1 to eat for lunch?)

o just found the answer about upgrading on the site...scratch the question.

but the question about redenvous still stands...and anybody have 19p? (whyd you pick it and what did you liek abotu it?)

Yes. At Rendezvous and any other take-out restaurant, you can order multiple meals/drink purchases in a single visit, assuming you have a Premier meal plan with enough swipes.

I feel like 19P is still a bit hardcore, even though I'll be sure to eat breakfast. Is downgrading possible, and is it a good idea? I know for sure I won't fill up 19 meals a week, but I thought it might end up being cheaper than getting 7 meals somewhere else.

straight from the site:

if people are going to come visit...go for the 19p...im still considering if i should get it....cause i love smoothies...haha

Thanks Jason!

anyone know how much were actually paying for each meal under the 14p and 19p?

Good question. I wonder how much I am paying for 9 months of meal plan. I have 14P.

I still don't get 19 gold...
you guys say that the regular meal plans like 19 gold roll over until the end of each week.

so if I have 4 swipes leftover at the end of a week, what can I do with them?

I got the 19 gold even though I'll be going home on the weekends because 14 premier is 300 bucks more. that means my meal swipes for the weekend will be wasted? should I go to 14 premier?

bump......

with the 14 blue and 19 gold meal plans, you basically have 3 options with extra swipes:
1) you can try to use most/all of them on the day before you leave (theres 5 meal periods: breakfast, lunch, dinner, 'late dinner', 'late late dinner'; you can swipe in once for each).
2) you can plan out your week better so you DONT have swipes left at the end...maybe grab a late night smoothie/coffee/bottled drinks/snack a few times if you know you're leaving for the weekend or something.
3) you lose any unused swipes for that week and you'll never see them again

let's say, I go home around 7PM on friday. I have 5 or 6 swipes left. what can I do with those?

and what time is the late night and late late night? I thought those places close around 12AM?

if you havent swiped in for dinner, then you can do that. then if you come back before 12am sunday night, you can use a swipe then.

late dinner is 10pm to 12am, and late late dinner is 12am to 2am i think. last year there was usually a place (puzzles or bruin cafe; mostly puzzles) that was open after 12am. not sure about this year since puzzles closed.

but like i said, if you know ahead of time, plan out your swipes (use 3 or 4 a day) before you leave. head down and grab something to drink/eat at 10 or 12. or grab breakfast to go (i think breakfast will be served at bruin cafe now?) before your class.

i just think they need a separate "late lunch" meal period. last year i came back from class at like 2/3/4 all the time and wanted to get a smoothie or ice blended but couldnt

anybody every have 19p? if you did, did you like having all those meals?

i do, i really don't care, its not that much money considering, it is only about 50 - 100 bucks more for the whole year, plus you can buy smoothies, from coffee bean with your swipes, and the pizza deal, i am pretty sure, i would be able to use them all nicely........

Five Meal Periods

BREAKFAST 3am-10:54am
LUNCH 10:55am-4:54pm
DINNER 4:55pm-9:59pm
BEFORE MIDNIGHT 10pm-11:59pm

Saturday and Sunday
AFTER MIDNIGHT 12am-2:59am
BREAKFAST 3am-9:24am
LUNCH 9:25am-4:54pm
DINNER 4:55pm-9:59pm
BEFORE MIDNIGHT 10pm-11:59pm

Too bad the dining halls are open for so limited hours UCAPPLICANT or else your offer would be great

ok now im really considering getting the 19p. the only thing im worried about is if during the other quarters my schedule doesnt work out so that i can get lunch at the hall...there goes wasted meals.
you can "to go" the food from the boutiques right? (so i can save it for lunch, dinner)
do students eat out at night a lot during the week?
