Hi Guys,
I’m about to start applying for transfer into business schools, with the ideal situation of getting a BS in Finance or BS in Business Admin w/ finance concentration (depending on which program my my school offers). My question to you is what kind of minor do you think would be most useful for me. My interests lay generally in Risk analysis, financial analysis, politics, international relations, and international business. Generally speaking, most schools do not have risk analysis/mgmt as a minor, but with my interests (but also a desire to make a fairly large amount of money) what do you think would be a good minor? I plan on eventually becoming CFA and/or going to grad school for an undecided masters.
I figured that some more relevant (or interesting) minors I’d be choosing from are:
International Business
Accounting
Something related to investments possibly?
Mathematics
Statistics
Computer Science
Information Systems
Political Science
Government
International Relations
Biotechnology
The business-related minors would be easier because some of the classes I’ve taken might already qualify for it, and the more liberal-arts-style minors might work out well because I still have some humanities courses I need to take that I could use to try to help me kill 2 birds with one stone. Which of these would you pick and why?
Thanks in advance
Phil
