Best Minor to accompany Accounting Major

Due to my school's new system, it is hard to double in a major which I was planning to due with Accounting (was going to do Finance) because your waitlisted for secondary major classes. So I was wondering what major would help me promote myself to recruiters, as well as help me in the future. I got also do a few since for some like Comm and Econ I got 2 of the 5 classes needed covered already and I'm shooting for the 225 hours in undergrad.

Some options:

Entrepreneurship
Economics (I really didn't like the intro macro and micro classes too much, though I was lazy in them)
Communications
Criminology
Sociology
Psychology
English
Globalization Studies (not sure if I want to go abroad though)
Philosophy

probably Economics , Entrepreneurship and probably MATH

Quick question…I forget almost everything from Macro and Micro. Would a company (Big 4 let’s say) ask you a question about your minor that’s content based in an interview. For instance would they ask you an econ question if your an econ major.

It depends on what you want to do. If it’s FBI then criminology or law. Think of what you would like to be then think through the relevant skill sets. CIS or MIS whatever is good too

SEC Examiner?
Auditor?
Analyst?
Systems designer?
Research?
blah blah?
Blah?

No. They only ask about what is relevant to the job you’re applying for.

Stats is useful for auditing.
