Best model of TI-84 for SAT II math

Sitting the maths exams in December, 7/12 or 12/7 w/e.

But I need to order a calculator today, due to shipping.

So can anyone advise me on these models please.

Just to check TI-84 is the best calculator for US SAT exams right?

I use a casio fx991es but I require a graphical calculator.

So can any good folks here let me know if the following TI-models are any good please.

Amazon.com: Texas Instruments TI-84 Plus Silver Edition Graphing Calculator (Packaging may vary): BANTA BOOK GROUP: Electronics - TI-84 plus silver edition

Amazon.com: Texas Instruments 84PLSEC/TBL/1L1 TI-84 Plus C Silver Graphing Calculator: Electronics - TI plus C silver

Amazon.com: Texas Instruments TI-84 Plus Graphing Calculator: Electronics - TI84 graphing calculator

Or if you would recommend a different one.

Thanks guys

Nate

Those are all the same calculator with the same features and functions (math- wise). So the choice isn’t a big one.

Also, do not go and and buy a calculator for the SAT that you do not know how to use. I have had the same 2 calculators for 2.5 and 4.5 respectively and there is still still much I don’t know omhow to do. You don’t want yo find out you don’t know how to do something mid-test.

You don’t need a graphing calculator for Math II.

I got 800 with this.
[Amazon.com: Sharp EL-531WHBK Scientific Calculator: Electronics](http://www.amazon.com/dp/B000LP6GUW)

Yep, thanks for the advice :)

classic sharp I remember those, well done on your score :)

Yeah, you can definitely score an 800 with just a scientific calculator. I didn’t see any questions that required the graphing capability, or other advanced features that most graphing calculators have.

I always use the TI-nspire CX, which is easy to use (it’s set up like a computer), and has several handy features like numerical solve, which can solve an equation for z

Oh right, I am going to order the TI 84 silver plus c edition, but thanks for your help. I have got the casio as well :)

I used TI-Nspire CX CAS cause it has alot of features including allowing you to solve algebraic equations and help you to answer questions much more quickly. [Amazon.com: Texas Instruments Nspire CX CAS Graphing Calculator (N3CAS/GC/2L1): Electronics](http://www.amazon.com/Texas-Instruments-Calculator-N3CAS-2L1/dp/B004NBZAYS/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1385205745&sr=1-1&keywords=ti+nspire+cx+cas)

However, since the CAS version can only be used for a small group of tests (including the SAT), I recommend the non-CAS version if you intend to use a GDC for other tests (including IB math etc.) [Amazon.com: Texas Instruments TI-Nspire CX Graphing Calculator: Electronics](http://www.amazon.com/Texas-Instruments-TI-Nspire-Graphing-Calculator/dp/B004NBZAW0/ref=sr_1_2?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1385205835&sr=1-2&keywords=ti+nspire+cx+cas)

I have a TI-84 Plus Silver Edition.

I haven’t had any problems with it so far.
