We are planning on extreme tongue in cheek sour grapes to deal. DD has gotten annoyed for being denied at schools that haven’t even denied her (yet). For example, “They’re so full of themselves. I mean, the squirrels are even that cute. There’s no way they deserve their own Facebook page.”
It’s all in jest, but seems to ease the pressure.
