I just scheduled my interview for Trinity College and I've been given two options of where we can have it (I'm having an alumnae interview since I can't make it to Hartford), one of which is a diner near my interviewer's office and the other of which is his actual office. Which would be the better option? I hope I'm not over analyzing this; Trinity is just my dream school and I really need to make a good impression. Thanks!

If you go to a diner, it would be ideal if you set it up over a meal. I would choose his office if I were you. You could start a conversation regarding his occupation - an ice-break of sort. (ie: Who are mostly your clienteles? What do you do? etc)

IMO, out of those two, the office. Trying to have a real conversation and eating at the same time is just difficult.

Just in case this may be an option - I highly recommend a busy cafe, even a Panera. That way there’s food and other people to mask any lack of talking, but you don’t have to eat a full meal during the conversation - just a sip of coffee or a bite of a pastry.
