I know that textbooks from previous semesters can be sold on websites like half.com, but I was looking for recommended websites to sell old readers on.

The readers referred to in the title of this post are: Soc 5 with Luker, Soc 167 with King (both readers), and UGBA 10 with Robinson/Banks/Vogel.

A reader is a collection of notes, articles and other course materials that is binded together. For some classes, Professors will prepare course readers to supplement/replace the textbook.

Typically, a reader is a textbook that is not (yet) published as an actual book, or a collection of notes and articles specified by the instructor. Content may vary from semester to semester, or between different instructors.

comegetused used to be good, but now it’s always got server issues and you can’t enter search terms. readers lose value pretty substantially because a new one is usually issued every semester with new articles, so i’d get whatever i could for them. try ned’s. or sell on uloop, half.com, amazon, and the like.
