Best places to study at Penn?

I’m actually a sophomore at USciences, which is just a 10 minute walk from UPenn. I always use Fagin Hall to study in, but I want to study in another building (besides the Van Pelt Library) where I can just blast my music as I study. Any suggestions for buildings or classrooms on Penn that I can use?

P.S. - I’m getting a Penn ID Card since I’m living with my sister in Penn’s graduate housing as she’s currently in a grad program.

In no particular order:

Fisher Fine Arts Library
6th floor of Van Pelt Library (awesome renovated space)
Biddle Law Library
The new Perry World House has study spaces
Wharton study rooms in Huntsman Hall
Houston Hall if you want lots of white noise/background noise
The ARCH (multicultural house)

@Cue7 where is the Biddle Law Library? I’ve actually never heard of it.

Also, do I have to reserve a room or could I just walk in and use it?

@JMS357 - sorry I didn’t read your first post carefully enough - I’m not sure where you can study in a public space with your music cranked up. If you have headphones, you can go to any of the above spaces, but they aren’t meant for loud music everyone can hear.

Biddle law library is in upenn law school - it’s a great space.

How can a non-Penn student get a Penn ID, and use it to reserve a study room?

I’m stunned that they allow a sibling who is an undergrad at another school to live in grad housing and that they would provide a Penn ID.

@f2000sa @happy1 I’m actually surprised too. Apparently, on the housing roster, I’m listed as a spouse or significant other, so maybe that has to do something with how I got to live with my sister?
