Best quality Fordham majors?

Hello everyone!

I know there are plenty of good majors at Fordham and that it is difficult to decide which are best. But what are some majors that stand out in Fordham? What departments are the strongest?
Communication is probably one of them. Business is also very well-known. What about sciences? Languages? Other humanities? Interdisciplinary majors?
Some factors to consider are faculty, student success, reputation of the school in a specific field, etc.
Also mention if a specific major stands out only in one of the campuses, or is offered only in one of them, like Theatre/Dance at LC.

Good luck!

Fordham is also very well known as a liberal arts college at both campuses.

If you go to the Fordham website and do some research you will see the departments and can look at faculty, honors programs etc.

If you are an admitted student, you have until sophomore year to declare and the strong and very broad core will help you see what is in your interests and such.

Some students incorrectly assume liberal arts are easy. They are not. Some of the toughest professors and programs are in the liberal arts.

Fordham is an old fashioned school that requires a lot of reading and writing papers. Strong writing skills are necessary to excel.

Most liberal arts majors at Fordham are good. I’ve personally had great experiences with the History department in terms of quality of professors and classes.

The Math department is also good and very challenging.
