Best SAT II Writing Prep Book?

Hi,

I've been working through both barron's and pr. I did the PR review, but the barron's was really dense. I did tests in both. I did well on the PR one, but I get killed on the barron's tests. Which one is more reflective of the real thing? Should I use sparknotes also?

There are lots of current threads about this on the CC Board right now.

Anyway, Sparknotes have very accurate practice tests, so if you're unsure about what range you might be in, I suggest you logon to their website and take their tests.

In general, PR has tests that are easier than the real tests, and Barron's tests tend to be harder.

Kaplan's is also a popular book

Yup, I support Kaplan, although PR's practice tests were very good and accurate, in my opinion.
