I'd like to know what's the best SAT Prep Course. I just took the SAT and got my scores today, 2060, which isn't spectacular. I'm starting to regret that I didn't take a prep course last summer. If I take one this summer, I'd only have one more chance to take it during October of my Senior year. What should I do?

Umm.. Sign up for the SAT Question of the Day and ask your school if they're registered for the SAT Online Course.

yeah, I've been doing the SAT Question of the Day for a long time now.....and I still only made a 2060.....man, I know someone that took Kaplan, who isn't a genius but he still managed to do well on his PSAT, a 200 something I think....and it's all cause of the prep course

I took a Kaplan course but it didn't help and I know why.

Don't ever take a course with your friends. If you do, take it with your best friend and only that one person who will not make fun of you or say anything stupid.

My school offered the course for $700 less than if you were to take it through Kaplan directly so everyone in my grade signed up. The days of the course were so much fun, we all stayed after, order pizza and chinese, played football in the side yard. But the actual class was pointless. The whole class was making fun of the teacher and noone was paying attention, so of course if I paid attention, it would be frowned upon. I asked one question during the duration of the course and that everyone starting laughing when I asked it. Also, if you did homework it was considered so stupid. Why do the very important and useful homework? So that is the only thing I have to say. Don't enroll in the class with your friends. Your money is better served on a new iPod.

I took Kaplan... got 2390. I took it with a friend too, though not a close one.

but one friend is okay, i think. Just don't take it with your whole grade.

Well, this was my experience at least. I can't say anything about anyone else really.

ELITE SAT boot camp

uhh i took Kaplan and its reallyyy helped

aren't Kaplan/PR courses meant those for who want to score in the sub 2000 range. Would it even be beneficial for someone looking to score 2200+

where did you hear that?
everyone that i know that took kaplan and didn't mess around and actually followed the program, did all of the work they gave you, etc. scored above a 2100

my brother took the princeton review course before the junior year psat (around 2002) and said it really helped...he got national merit and a 1560/1600, so no, those courses aren't just for low scorers.
