well, i live there right now and its the nicest dorms on Rutgers since the Livi apartments aren’t finished yet, but those are apartments with a full kitchen. These are better than all the other suites because its only 4 people sharing a bathroom not 6. If your a freshmen then you are going to love these because these have your own private bathroom and usually freshmen dont even get the option to live in suites yet, they have the option for doubles. The dorm life here is quiet, you can study in your room or in the on floor louge; one building also has its own computer lab which is really convenient. Some people dont like it because its too quiet and think some of students are antisocial. No one really parties here but thats great for serious premed, engineering, and pharmacy majors. Every now and then you have to go to some events within BEST because it is a learning community and they are usually fun, a great way to meet people, and useful, with events such as resume building, health profession networking, etc.

thanks so much for the info. Is it really true that best suites have kitchens too? or are those kitchens only for senior suites?

This is the most common complaint I’ve heard from my friends. Living in a suite isn’t for everybody. If you want more privacy it’s a good choice, but if you’re more outgoing you might be better off in a traditional dorm.

in each floor lounge there is a kitchen with an oven, fridge, and microwave, but no stove
