i just started my junior year, and i haven't yet decided when to take the MAJOR tests (SAT/ACT) , i'm on a block schedule, so i don't have a history class till next semester, but i don't want to wait till june to test...what should i do?

You don’t need history on either of those tests, so that shouldn’t affect when you take them.

Umm yeah, do you know anything about the SATs? (not to be mean, it’s just weird that you think you need history)

The sooner the better, honestly. Some people think that they need time to prepare, but I think you should start now so that if you get a low score you can take it again for a higher one. If you wait for june, then your next chance will be in senior year, when you’ll be really busy.

Study for the November one, study hard for the March. Take SAT II’s in June (after you have completed the respective AP classes). Try to leave October open.

thanks people

@ohgod
true, i know little about the SATs, i’ve been focusing mainly on math concepts and word roots, and not in many other places. so i’m trying to learn more about it… i took the ACTs in 7th grade (of course will take again), so most of my knowledge lies therein i read the best time to test is in the spring of junior year, but it looks like February for me
