Hey I am a junior looking to visit Emory (from New Jersey). So I was wondering when the best time to visit was since I cannot really afford to go more then once. Thanks

yeah i visited mid november (during the foliage) the weather was perfect and the campus was beautiful. but it doesn't really matter when you visit. if you want more time to decide visit in the summer

I happened to go during Dooley Week on my spring break last year. Anytime should be fine, but if you want to visit the B school I think they only tour on Mondays and Fridays at specific times (I had to rush to the airport so I couldn't tour the B school) and some of the specific programs may have specific days of the week they tour so make sure you take that into account.

I would say Dooley's week (in March) would be good. Don't visit on a weekend though, the campus is dead during the day on the weekends and the students don't really look their finest at that point (hungover, half asleep, etc)

Ok thanks everyone. So what is Dooley's week?

Dooley (a skeleton) is our unofficial mascot. During Dooley's week, if Dooley goes to your class it is canceled. There's usually a lot of school spirit that week. Look it up on wikipedia if you're curious. I visited during Dooley's week last year and it is part of what convinced me to go to Emory.

Haha that sounds awesome. When is Dooley week exactly? I couldn't find the date where I was looking
