UCSD is not a party school. No football, no college town, small greek presence. SDSU on the other hand, is a big party school.

“You’ve gone to the finest school all right, Miss Lonely
But you know you only used to get juiced in it.”

Bob Dylan

Holy Cross! Wicked hard academics, harder parties.

yeah, from what i have heard holy cross is.
UMich, people are drinking at 9 am on football game days. also someone said pepperdine and i am not sure what they are talking about, it doesnt seem like a party school at all. the claremont colleges are known for being one of the biggest partying schools out of the top tier schools

The thing I love about collegeconfidential is how no matter how ironclad a reputation is, there is always somebody who will throw an anecdote against the wall and hope it sticks…there’s always something like:

“Chicago not a party school??!! My cousin says it rocks!”

“Wesleyan is liberal??!! I knew a football player there who wasn’t even a Democrat!!”

“People in New York City are rude??!! Once I bumped into somebody in Queens and he said ‘Excuse me’!!!”

Holy Cross, Duke, Vandy, Dartmouth.
