Best Undergrad Pre-Medical Programs

I'm not sure if this has been discussed before, but I'm very interested and gearing the time and effort I have now towards a good medical school experience. Hence I'm asking for your opinion on which schools you think will best prepare an aspring medical school student . . attempting to widen the selection of schools I plan to apply to. I'm trying to do a lot now as my junior year is coming to a close, as I said on my previous thread here. Thanks for any input =)

Rice/Baylor?

The best school is the one you fall in love with. The one that's the best fit for you academically and socially, and the one that allows you to do the best you can do in building a list of experiences, organizations, volunteering, leadership, and research to go along with GPA and MCAT scores.

The reason for me saying this is that you are looking for a school to "prepare" you for medical school, when your focus during undergrad should be on getting in, because that's the tough part - once you are in there are very few people who don't go on to graduate with their MD.

And after one year of medical school, I don't think that there is such a thing as a good medical school experience - it's one year of my life that I'm thankful I will never have to live again.
