Best Undergraduate NON-Freshman Housing?

What do you think are some of the best housing options for an undergraduate junior? It would also be very helpful if you could mention what makes your choice better than the other options.

I would prefer somewhere that the inside feels new and not 50 years old like Annenberg.

And yes I have searched around the forums however 90% of the housing threads are about freshman housing.

Thanks for your help.

TrojanHousing doesn't seem to offer upperclassmen housing that rivals the quality seen in the new Parkside buildings that are offered to underclassmen. Most of the off-campus properties are older apartments that have seen various levels of refurbishment. I can tell you the first floor of Annenberg House is actually quite modern with new carpet and central air.

You'll also want to take a look at non-university housing, because USC housing is not guaranteed for juniors. There are several top quality options that cater to USC students, as long as you are willing to pay. Some upperclassmen also live downtown, as the loft and apartment market there has more options and caters to adults who wouldn't tolerate the conditions in some USC buildings.

The most popular options are Webb Tower and Troy Hall/Troy East for USC housing. However, these options are also the first to fill up every year. You have to have a very good lottery number to get into them.

What do you guys think is the best option between Troy hall/east and Webb Tower? Any info is appreciated.

Nikara thanks for the info

Webb Tower unless you want proximity to The Row. It's a much newer building with better rooms, good views and literally on campus. However, you are extremely unlikely to get Webb unless you apply with current residents.

Depends on what you want. I live in Webb and literally right next door to food and excercise.

However, Troy/Troy East is close to the Row, and I would also argue some classes are closer to that area for GE's and such. I don't know what your major is... so might not be too close.
