Feel free to use this thread to post questions about any kind of housing as that I have one of my own. I got placed into Annenberg House, I was quite literally "One of the last people on the housing list," as the nice girl from housing told me. She did say that on September 5th, we could have the option of changing if we wanted. Anyone have any thoughts on AH?

Would this be your first year in USC housing or not? Officially, Annenberg is for non-freshman students. I will be living in AH this fall as well.

In general, apartments offer a very different living experience than traditional dorms. You have more independence and floor space, but are more isolated because apartment buildings don't have the same community vibe as a dorm hall does.

AH is also a bit farther from campus than other housing options. However, it does offer cool amenities like a computer lab and a gorgeous, shady back lawn. Personally, I think it should be a great building for me.

I'm a transfer student, coming in as a sophomore/junior, pending some official transcripts. It's closer to the "The Row" and also has a tram, so the distance thing isn't an issue for me.
