University of Waterloo is a special case because they are very, very good for selected technical specialties only.

In Nepal there are very few Universities but numerous small colleges affiliated to those Universities.
Well the good ones are:
Institute Of Medicine (Maharajgunj)
It's good and very tough to get into.

Institute of Engineering- Pulchowk (difficult but not as much)

HEY GUYS..........
NEPAL
TRIBHUWAN UNIVERSITY(BEST AND OLDEST)
Although government negligance is taking toll on its management and daily operations.

Dude, you can't even spell Toronto right!

I suppose it depends on your criteria. Queen's has a very good, residential undergraduate experience; if that's what you're looking for, I suppose they're very good, but so is Bishop's.

In reality it all comes down to funding for research. UofT has by far the best range of recognized programs in Canada. Period.

UofA has been getting a LOT of funding in recent years what with the oil boom, and I expect they'll be climbing international rankings soon. Same applies with Calgary, but they have more ground to make up.

^you list was categorized by reputation and in that case naff is right...UofT has 60,000 students so obviously they will have the funds to do research

Well, number of students does not necessarily equate with research funding (e.g., York). However, research funding does tend to equate with reputation.

And come on, you're not actually saying that Queen's is more reputable than UofT. What I said is that, if you list them by quality of undergraduate education, perhaps Queen's might come on top; but certainly not by overall reputation!

Maybe UofT has a better reputation than Queens but McGill definitely has a much better reputation than UofT...btw research funding does not equate reputation, because if that were so than places like NUS (National University Singapore) and many such unis would have a better reputation than places like Dartmouth and I don't believe that is the case
