<p>I'm considering volunteering at either a local kid's summer camp, a therapy office, or a psychiatric hospital. Which one would look best on an app? I feel like all of those are pretty generic volunteer options so I'm open to other ideas as well.</p>
<p>I would go for all 3 if you can. Colleges love to see you help out the community. Have you looked into tutoring at an elementary school?</p>

<p>well I don’t really have any connections in education besides my grandfather being on the board of a local university (he said there’s no opportunities there). And I’d do the thrift shop suggestion but I’m looking for something a bit more humanitarian (have to change the world!).</p>

<p>I think if you do the things mentioned above, you will be fiine with the amount of service hours and volunteer work to put on your app.
