best way to self study for subject tests.

whats the best way to prepare for the math1 and bio subject tests, and french(reading), if you've taken it?

Get some good prep books that have 1) review of the fundamentals that will be on the test (not just a subject review like you get in a textbook), 2) strategies for the tests, and 3) practice questions and tests.

I have the PR books for math and bio and would definitely recommend them, but did AP French so wouldn't be taking SAT II French (might as well get the credits while I'm at it). But based on my experiences with the other PR books, it's probably pretty good.

waiit, i'm takin IB french2 so i shouldnt take the frenchsubject test? thnx for the other info.

Hmmm, not sure. I'd always go for the credits if you can, but if you're only in French 2 so far I wouldn't attempt the AP test. What grade are you in? You need a good 4+ years of French to do well enough on the AP (I will have 6 years by graduation).

lol IB french 2, is actually fifth french level, similar to an ap class. yea i'm gettin the credit, but my grades havent been to good this semester so i thought maybe i'd offset it with a 700+ on the sat2 french. if i can do it, we'll see.

D'oh...we don't have IB classes at my school (I'm not really sure what those are).
