Self-Studying for SAT II's?

Hey all! Thanks for your attention to my anxious inquiry.

I've taken 4 years of French, 1 of Chem, and one of Bio. When I plan to take subject tests (this spring. I'm a junior) I will have completed most of a year of Pre-calc and trig.

However, I feel that none of that has sufficiently prepared me/will sufficiently prepare me to take subject tests in either French, Bio, Chem, or Math 2.
I feel I'll be prepared to take the US History test, though.

If, in addition to US History, I want to take either Bio or Chem and French, how would you suggest I self-study? Is a prep book in that subject sufficient? Or should I get a textbook for that course and study? Thanks!

If you have the foundational knowledge from your school courses, using prep books and practice tests should be enough. Also remember that the internet is your friend :).

well barrons is a great teacher for math2, i think PR is good for bio, someone might say different, but barrons is definately 800 material, and idk about USH or French, but I’d definately recommend taking math2, just fill in the gaps or your knowledge with barrons, or do the whole book if you want then take sparknotes practice tests online, then the CB released ones
