Best way to study for the ACT? Barrons? Kaplans?

What is the best way to study?

it depends...which one you perfer.... me personally i like barrons

I've given up on study aids....just take the test.

real act...then princeton review and kaplan....barrons was WAY too hard, I don't recommend it.

To study from - I liked princeton, it was easy to digest.
If you want to get a decent idea of what your score will actually be, take the practice tests in the real ACT book.

kaplan now sux, none of their methods helped me raise my score, I scored the exact same thing- 25

The Real ACT Prep Guide, Kaplan ACT, Barron's ACT, Cracking the ACT

2005 or 2006 Edition.. Which one should be the best?

I am using Cracking the ACT by Princeton Review for study tip/tricks.
I use The Real ACT Prep Guide, for the 3 Real Official Tests.
I am also using a site called number2.com, and learningexpresslibrary.com.

Princeton Review today released the Cracking the SAT 2006 edition
went to barnesnoble and it looks quite good (they could have had added more stuff though)

Princeton Review just released everything today:

Cracking Psat, act, sat 2006 editions

i just ordered the psat and act one on amazon.

yay!!

Best way is just to take it multiple times. Not only do you get better each time because you're framiliar with the format and types of questions, but also, once you have a half way decent score, it takes the pressure off you.
My scores went like this: 29-30-33

I have the 2005 version of the Cracking the ACT book and it is definitely awesome. If anyone ends up with both, let us know if the tests in the 2006 one are all new!

how's barron's act?
