<p>I second the suggestion for Verizon…We have had great luck with it so far, although last year son did lose us sometimes in one particular area of his first floor room. Must be that Hokie Stone doing its thing.</p>
<p>I think it is the Hokie stone. Im not sure why though. I used to have AT&T and it worked inside my dorm (which is made of regular brick). But anytime I went inside or around any building made of Hokie stone my phone was useless.</p>

<p>Thanks! Everyone’s been banned from upgrading phones for a while, so we’re not under contract. It occurred to me that AT&T has terrible dead zones all down 81.</p>
