CC is truly one of those communities that are actually useful to belong to. 
However, maybe you could make it less addictive somehow?
What? There are hundreds of tranfers on this website who don’t get decisions until April, May, and sometimes until June.

Kinda insensitive but college confidential was my #1 site to visit wherever I have spare time during school. Haha. Next year, I shall be a college freshman. Thank you, anyone in general, for the advice and lessons I learned in this transition to my future. I know what to tell underclassmen before I leave: Visit college confidential. Trust me, you are not alone in your feelings.
This sight helped me so much. as you can tell by my name, I really wanted to go to UW, and the UW thread gave me essential advice, and without it, I don’t think I would have had what it took in the essay to get in. Thanks again!

Our 2 kids went off to college back to back with the last of the two off this year. During the last two college application seasons we experienced hope, fear, optimism, disappointment, celebration, excitement and no small dose of drama. It was comforting to know we were not alone. CC was an important source of information and support these last couple of years. I was not active on the forums but i spent a lot of time here and feel a little sad that we will be ‘graduating’ from CC this year.
This place has a fantastic community and is an invaluable resource for countless students and families. I promote the site to friends and family who have college in their future To the folks at CC, a big thank you and best wishes for your continued success.
