Currently was accepted to George Washington University, transferring in 60 credits and did an internship with a Congressman over the summer. I have my Associates Degree in Paralegal Studies and thought that was decent.

As for overall job prospects which major do you think would allow me more opportunities, the Political Science degree or Political Communication degree from George Washington University?

Not opposed to going to Law school afterwards but in the event I didn't want to go that direction.

I don’t think the name of either is going to matter, but you may want to look at the coursework of the Political Communication degree to see if it will give you more useful skills.

As you probably know, law school is LSAT and GPA. Major doesn’t matter.

It depends on what careers you are considering. Do you want to do communications/ public relations type work, or are you more policy oriented?

Take a look at the curricula for each major? Which appeals more to you? If you don’t need to decide immediately , try to get a couple of internships or at least some shadowing opportunities to help you make up your mind .

Just a personal note-- my son has a masters in public policy and has a job he loves doing policy analysis and advocacy. It might be something for you to consider.
