PoliSci or Communications?

<p>Ever since fifth grade, I've been interested in politics, news, and current events. For a few years I pictured myself as a broadcast journalist, but recently I've become more fascinated with the political side of my interests. My dream career would be working as a press-oriented political aide under a Senator/Congressperson/administration.</p>

<p>To get that job, I've been considering Political Science for a major, but I don't know how much/little that would help me. Would a major in Communications and a minor in PoliSci be better, or a double-major in both? Any extra insight on both of these majors is definitely welcomed.</p>

<p>major and minor or double major.....Or say your first choice doesn't work out...what would your second career be? Choose your major on what fits your interests and can help you in the long run just in case.</p>
