Beware the ides of march...

isn't anyone excited/depressed/stressed/sad/happy/anxious about the decisions coming out in a week?

The ides were on the 15th, bud.

How many people applied RD this year?

many. a lot actually.

19,800 applications total, I believe.

By total, Columbia2002 means the total of both RD and ED, and of Columbia College and SEAS. (19,736)

I haven't seen an RD breakout, but the university has said that about 44% of the College Class of 2010 will be ED applicants. It's a tough year.

The ED numbers are public. Someone who isn't as lazy as I am can do the subtraction and figure out the number of RD applicants this cycle.

please let me in Columbia!

some girl in my school committed suicide on the ides of march this year

Merudh, that's rather irrelevant to this discussion, not to mention irreverent to Ingie. I doubt she'd want that posted on college confidential. What was your incentive in posting something like this?

-Kyle

kyle... you didn't have to post her name. this is supposed to me an anonymous thread. anyway, discussion about this ends here. sorry. I admit that was irresponsible of me to do that, I'd take that back but I can't delete the post.
