So I was just accepted into the Business Honors Learning Community program and I was wondering how helpful it is or will be to me as a business major.

I guess I would like to do it, but it’s on North campus and in Taylor Tower…which is supposedly the worst spot on campus. Not even sure if I want to be surrounded by all business types either.

But I don’t want a party 24/7 dorms either, so I was thinking that one of the honors dorms on South would be a nice compromise.

But how much of a leg up would BHLC give me on opportunities within Fisher? I plan on working very, very hard on getting into Fisher Futures and you have to apply to that your sophomore year.

Did you get a choice? It seems like they already put me in Taylor Tower with the BHLC program. Any way I could switch to South? Not sure if I want to but I would have liked options.

Trust me Taylot Tower is fine and not this intense nerdville people here on CC are making it to be. My DS lives there this year. He has met some great students and they joined one of the frats. They also joined and formed a squad for humans versuszombies. Healso is one of the founders of the Ohio State Paintball team. It seems like he and his Taylor friends are always doing something. True they do study for their classes, but tthey are junping into Mirror Lake like the rest of the students. There are so many different groups in Taylor that he tells me you met all kinds of students. If you are worried then for sure sign up to be an OWL and you will meet everyone in the tower. My DS says that is where he met most of his good friends from Taylor.
