I got a letter in the mail that I was admitted into the BHP program. But, I am rather surprised I didn't recieve any scholarships? It may have been because I'm pretty low in comparision on who else probably got in. ACT=33. SAT 2's 780 m2 760 m1 660 chem with a 4.07 w gpa 3.81 uw. top 10%(decile only). President of DECA, Pres of Spanish Honors Society, Captain of Math Team, Secretary of Student Council member of varsity baseball. Does anyoen know when scholarship's are sent out, or did i just not get any? I don't want to call just in case it's coming in the mail. I'm from CT and Hispanic.

I wouldnt be surprised if you didnt get a scholarship because a lot of the people who get into BHP are studs. But i feel like they offer everyone the one time 2500 minimum because they are so selective

BHP only offered a handful of 10k scholarships, and nothing else. Only 1% of their pool got offered a scholarship. Don’t feel bad.

Top 1% jeeze. I feel like that would be like 5 people

I feel like that’s a little off. I’m sure they’d be more giving to honors progam people. but seriously 1%???

Congrats, bball! Be happy that you got in. I know that scholarship money matters especially if you are OOS. UT has had to cut back on a lot of scholarship offers.

1005 applicants. 15 scholarships. Ok, 1.5%. You got me.

UTAustinR:
You are sooo good! lol
I guess that means they are finished? :-(

I think so Tiger–their hard deadline is/was March 4th, so I think they are finished interviewing.

Hey! I cannot speak for admissions and scholarships this year, but I received my BHP scholarship in mid-April, so you may have to wait of for that until then. However, don’t get your hopes up because obviously everyone who is admitted has pretty awesome stats and resume.
