Does anyone know how the BHP interviews work. I know that there are by invitation only. If you are selected for an interview, would you get a phone call? Email? or a letter?

Is the interview on phone? Can anyone share their interview experience?

Interviews are required for admission. If you didn’t get one, you won’t be admitted. I got an email requesting to schedule a time for a phone call. I believe they are all like that now. They called me within 10 minutes of the time we set aside. It was a short 25 minute conversation. He asked me maybe four questions, which were very predictable and a tad cliche. Questions like: Why BHP? A time you took initiative? A time you were part of a team? etc.

@rkay: Also, please be patient with the process. The internal deadline for mailing out notifications on admissions is March 4th, so that means just because you haven’t had an interview yet, you are surely not going to get one. Be patient and relax! I hope all turns out well!

I don’t think the comment says what the poster meant to say. I think wisehorse meant to say “so that means just because you haven’t had an interview yet, DOESN’T MEAN you are surely not going to get one.” Is that what you meant, wisehorse? Just be patient, you may still get an interview?

The BHP website says: “The BHP will contact qualified applicants between October and March to set up interviews.”
It’s barely mid-February, so just breathe. I go to a non-ranking school, it’s really tough not having any idea what decision I will get on admission or BHP! They have to get through the holistic reviews, then pass those on to BHP to consider. Bad weather and record applications haven’t helped the timeline. ARRGGH!!
