Smith sent a 'big white envelope' with some general information, D received it today. So if you get one, it is not a decision about admission.

did the admissions people do that on purpose? I mean, they had to have known how excited people would get. I guess I'm a little angry, as i did not see this post before getting all excited about it. The activities brochure was interesting though.

they just sent me a small, thin envelope with my user ID and PIN for Banner Web 2 days ago. so where's the big white one?

haha yeaa i still remember that. i was like sweet! so soon?

crazy smith.

If you received your userID and PIN for bannerweb, I would keep checking for a message from admissions. They will prabably send you an email of acceptance first, then follow up with a letter including any financial aid or awards you may have won. GL...the time is coming soon!

yea.. i was so excited when i saw it in the mail .. and then it was only information about activities.

You probably have a couple of weeks left before knowing...but keep checking back, you never know!

omg i just got that thing today! Grrr, so annoying!
I came home and I saw that thing sittign on my desk and immediety i thought, " This is it! hooray!" and i tare open the envelope only to find that letter about how hard waiting is and some promotional material. It's so not cool of Smith to play with our minds and emotions like that lol

I ran across D's acceptance the other day: it was dated March 26.

do they post acceptances on bannerweb?

i hope so but i dont think they do. i think we have to wait for the mail. supposedly theyre sending letters out on march 24

actually yea -- i def found out on bannerweb on the fri they sent out acceptance letters.

i wrote a post earlier kinda explaining how to access the decisions. it was a little tricky for me. anywya yea.

good luck guys!

i got excited with the big envelope. gosh darn it. why would they do such a thing? especially during mid-march... :(

march 24? well, i guess i'll be biting my nails til then :(
