My classes are pretty much all over campus... does anyone recommend bringing a moped or bike? If you get a moped, is there parking at the academic buildings? I've seen people riding on them at campus and they seem pretty convenient.. is it worth it? Thanks...

My classes were the same the first two years. You can get a bike, but this is a very hilly campus, lots of uneven sidewalks and stairs, and I’ve seen quite a few bikers end up on the ground. With that said, there are still a ton of bikers everywhere. Mopeds are favored mostly by athletes–you can get one, but I wouldn’t recommend it. You have to take pretty long paths that go out of the way to get to places, since you can only take it on the road. As far as parking for mopeds, a lot of people just have one of those locks that locks the rear tire, and others hook them to the bike racks.

My recommendation is just to hoof it! The walking was killer the first few weeks, but then you get used to it, and now I’ve get calf muscles that could cut diamond.

A slight overstatement, but still–in such better shape than I was back then!

My son skateboards all over campus. He LOVES the hills!!!

lol!!! yea I think I’ll just get used to walking, I could use the extra exercise lol, skateboarding sounds convenient, except for the fact that I can’t skateboard - but thanks anyways!!
