Bill Gates

What of school Harvard did Bill Gates go to.

correct me if i'm wrong, but i think he went to college there but didn't finish college in order to write software and stuff...

That's true but it doesn't answer my question.

Harvard College, I believe. Feel free to double check that, though.

"he went to college there"

i guess it answers your question Oo

Bill Gates didn't go to graduate school @ Harvard, so if you're wondering among Harvard Business School, or Law School, or something like that...it was just Harvard College I believe.

didn't he get in b/c he could work extremely well with computers/software as a kid ?

on wikipedia it says he didn't graduate from harvard.

I think it was Harvard College too. But he dropped (as we have already settled...)

Does it matter?

Last year, TIME had an article about Bill Gates (he was invited to Harvard to receive an honorary Doctor degree). According to that article (hopefully I did not remember the details wrong), Gates dropped out of Harvard near the end of his 4-year there and was not exactly voluntary. Apparently, he had a little brush with school regulations. He was doing something in the dorm (his company), which violated school laws. Also, around that time, one night, he went to a party somewhere in Boston, drove a borrowed car without carrying a valid license, and was caught by a police. He stayed in correction center for one night because he did not have enough money to bail himself out. Since then, he learned to carry enough cash just in case.

@Susan4: hahaha! Whatever!

I was wondering because harvard does not have an undergrad business school.

bill gates did not become rich just by going to business school =)
his computer skills were probably more use, as gates even describes himself as an engineer, not a businessman

he was awarded with an honorary phd from harvard.

hey, stupidkid, what's an honorary PHD. lol

Doctor of Philosophy - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

guess this should do

Bill Gates lived in Wigglesworth as a freshman and Cabot House as a Sophomore where he met Steve Ballmer, then dropped out during Sophomore year

I find it hilarious that there's a house named Wigglesworth.

He dropped out of high school after 10th or 11th grade. That I am sure about. Maybe he went back and went to harvard?

Just goes to show you what a little drive and god given talent can do for you.
